Julie Hoover’s 2020 Sweater Club is making its LYS debut at Spun, October 11-13, and Julie will be joining us to celebrate at a special reception on Friday, October 11, from 4 to 6pm.

Tibetan Cloud, the newest offering from mYak, is a sport/light DK weight that is exceptionally light, bouncy, and soft, its feel in your hands closer to that of cashmere or yak than most wool. Sourced from an ancient breed of sheep that roam freely on the Tibetan Plateau, Tibetan Cloud is ethically procured and manufactured and may be traced back to its flock.
Each of Julie’s Sweater Club kits includes the patterns for both Keller and Pearson, patterns available at this point exclusively through the club.
Julie is selling her kits online and, after her online sales have closed, at a very limited number of venues nationwide, including six LYSs and mYak’s US headquarters. Please remember that when these kits are gone, they’re gone: the patterns will not be available online or in any other version for the foreseeable future
Spun will have ten of Julie’s Sweater Club kits available the weekend of October 11-13.
Each Sweater Club purchase must be accompanied by purchase of the yarn necessary to make either Keller or Pearson. All purchases may be made in person at the shop or over the phone, beginning on Friday, October 11, at 4pm. If Spun runs out of a particular color to accompany a Sweater Club kit, we will special order it and ship it at no charge when it arrives.
Please make plans to join us! Remember that Julie will be with us on Friday evening, so come to ask her questions (which color is best for me?), or to exclaim (that shoulder detail!), or just to celebrate one of the many talented people who make Michigan special.
Questions? Please email Carol (email@example.com) or Pete (firstname.lastname@example.org).
