Improve your making by knowing your materials better! In this two-hour class, you will learn about the materials and processes used to make yarn, the difference between worsted and woolen spun, and how wool is made "superwash" and more.  Sheep make a wide variety of wools and those wools make an even wider variety of yarns. And then there are fibers from llamas and alpacas not to mention cotton, linen, flax.... How will you choose what is best for your sweater or socks? We have answers. Bring your questions! No prereqs. Ages 10+.
