Stocking Techniques (3 hours)

Saturday, November 12, 10a-1p • $50
Teacher: Melynda Bernardi from French Press Knits

Start a new tradition in your home this holiday season with handknit Christmas stockings.  We are so excited to have knit designer extraordinaire Melynda Bernardi to teach this special holiday class. In it, you'll learn the essential techniques you need to get started knitting stockings.  We will cover how to read a colorwork chart, duplicate stitch, and stranded knitting.  We'll talk about stocking construction along with different heel and toe options. Get ready to create gifts that loved ones will treasure for many years.

We're also excited to announce the release of Melynda's new book Comfort and Joy: Seven Original Stocking Designs to Warm Your Holiday Season. Following the class we'll enjoy a special reception with Melynda to celebrate!
