Ready to knit a sweater? Would you like to try top-down sweater construction? Little Willet is baby cardigan knit from the top down, with an applied I-cord edge and round yoke. The yoke and sleeves are worked in garter stitch and the body in stockinette. Yarn-over button holes are worked into the yoke. Mary will walk you through the instructions and examine all the techniques used in the construction of this little cutie, including the long-tail, backward loop, and cable cast-ons; increasing and decreasing; seaming; blocking; and sewing on buttons. This sweater will make a perfect baby gift!
