Andrea Mowry has been designing eye-catching and wearable knits since 2014, focusing on crafting garments and accessories that fit the modern wardrobe, using materials chosen with an eye toward supporting other small businesses. She loves to learn new techniques and skills, and she loves to share her knowledge with other knitters through her carefully crafted patterns and through her teaching. We couldn’t be more excited and happy to welcome her back to Spun this Mother’s Day weekend!
Andrea will be joining us for two events on Saturday, May 12.
First, from 10 to 1, she’ll be teaching a fun, project-based class focusing on her popular “Tincture Hat,” helping knitters tackle Mosaic knitting and teaching them how to craft a beautiful, colorful hat they’ll wear again and again. Call or stop by to reserve your spot or sign up online.
Andrea will also be in the shop on Saturday afternoon from 2-4 for a special meet-and-greet and mini-trunk show. She’ll be bringing along some of her most wearable and popular goods, all knit from Brooklyn Tweed yarns, including “Weekender,” the “Yoga Shawl,” “Winter Honey,” and “Sheltered.”
Bonus! From 2-6pm on Saturday, May 12, Spun will offer a 10 percent discount on yarn purchased to make any of the garments and accessories in Andrea’s trunk show!
(The discount is limited to in-stock and in-store purchases only.)
