Welcome Vesper Sock to Spun! We are excited to introduce you to this sweet stripey goodness, from Merino fiber sourced and milled in the US and hand-dyed in Southeast Michigan. Julia Vesper has been dyeing yarn since early 2005, creating self-striping colorways in cheerful five- to eight-color repeats that shouldn’t always languish under shoes. Each skein is unique, and each is a pleasure to work with, the yarn’s neat pebbled ply yielding fabric that is soft but sturdy, with knockout colors that will brighten the grayest of Michigan days. (Let’s be honest.)
Please join us to welcome Julia to Spun for a Kerrytown First Fridays happy hour, from 4 to 6pm. What Spun brings to the party: pretty yarn, door prizes, and treats. What you bring to the party: your cheerful selves. After the party, we'll host drop-in knitting from 6-8pm while people are gathering at Kerrytown for the Fool Moon festival that kicks off at sunset.
