We're bringing in a collection of seven stunning Shibui samples including a brand new design from Julie Hoover and two designs from Shibui's Spring/Summer Collection featuring new yarn set to launch March 28, 2017. Check the samples out below (we'll add the new designs when they're released) and stop by starting March 28 to see them in person.
To celebrate, we're offering a 10% discount on the pattern and Shibui yarn purchased to make one of these trunk show patterns. Plus, everyone who makes a trunk show purchase will be entered in a drawing to win one of three Shibui cowl kits.
Kaplan. A feminine sweater with subtle details, rendered in a luxe blend of merino, silk, and mohair. Julie Hoover’s“Kaplan” is her most recently published design, and it’s a beauty, knit up in Maai and Silk Cloud.
Martine. A well-fitting summer raglan with texture and ease. Julie Hoover’s “Martine” is knit with Rain, a papery soft 100 percent cotton with a sheen that makes Shibui’s signature palette soar.
Wintour. A perfect year-round sweater with ease and elegance. Julie Hoover’s “Wintour” is knit holding Twig and Pebble together, yielding an irresistible fabric.
Simple Tee. A versatile garment that elevates the standard t-shirt to a new level of elegance while retaining the necessary comfort and ease. Churchmouse’s “Simple Tee” is something special in Twig, worked in our version to a tunic length with cap sleeves.
Tier. A thin scarf that will be your go-to summer accessory. Shellie Anderson’s “Tier,” free at the shop with the purchase of appropriate Shibui yarn, may be worked to two different lengths, out of either Twig or Cima. (We made ours with Twig.)
