Newbie Knit Night

Are you a new knitter who would like a little support? A chance to work and socialize with other new knitters and a few experienced ones?

NOTE: Newbie Knit Night is not designed to teach complete beginners how to knit but rather for people with some experience who are looking to expand their skills.
Join us for Newbie Knit Night, a new monthly Spun event focused on boosting new knitters’ skills. Our Newbie Knit Nights are typically held on the 2nd and 4th Monday of every month from 6-8pm (check here for updates as the schedule may change depending on holidays or other events). They are designed to help new knitters (that is, folks who already know the basics) as they venture into new projects and new techniques. We'll have some experienced folks on hand to sit and knit together with you and be your safety net as you broaden your skills. See below for details on how to sign up.

What to Bring:

--Your work-in-progress or a plan for a new work-in-progress that we can help you execute (required!)
--Confidence (required!)
--A snack or drink to share with your fellow makers (optional!)

The fine print:

This is a free event, but we do ask that you plan to work on a project using yarn purchased from Spun.

Please sign up for each scheduled Newbie Knit Night ahead of time by calling or stopping by the shop, as we need to limit attendance, and please arrive at Spun before 6:00 so we can make sure you get in the building!
