Basic Hat Knitting (2 weeks)

Fridays, April 14 & 21, 11am-1pm • $60

So you know how to knit giant rectangles, but you don’t know much else. Hat knitting is a great project for adventurous beginners because you learn how to knit in the round and how to decrease.  Students are welcome to bring any basic hat pattern they are interested in making. A pattern will be provided for anyone who does not have one in mind. Ages 10 and up.
Pre-requisites: Cast on, knit, purl and bind off.
Materials: A skein of worsted weight yarn from Spun, 16” circular and DPNs in size appropriate for yarn plus 16” circular one size smaller for the brim
