Beginning Crochet (2 weeks)

Fridays, September 22 and 29, 6-8pm • $60
Teacher: Brandon Rumsey

Conquer your fear of the hook, and join the many crafters who have discovered the ease and speed of crochet! Join Brandon to learn the basics in two relaxing sessions. Working from patterns we provide, you’ll learn how to make a foundation chain, as well as how to single crochet, double crochet, half-double crochet, triple crochet, work simple increases and decreases, and slip stitch (necessary for making the incredibly utilitarian granny square). Week 1 will set you on track to make a simple face cloth, while week 2 will have you moving into granny square territory. You’ll finish the course with the skills and confidence you need to make quick, basic scarves and blankets!
